Ascometal produces special steels for the manufacturing of components of bearings including inner and outter rings, integrated hubs, rolling balls ( eg. balls, needles and rollers) from continuous cast rounds, rolled steel bars or cold rolled bars and from wire rod. Ascometal also offers steels adapted to specifications for example carbon grades, 100C6 grades, case hardening and Endurasco grades. In order to elaborate and test the steels, cleanness characterisation methods, fatigue thrust ball-bearing tests and tests on twin-disc machines are carried out.
